Description

Nice Penguins is an independent video game studio from the North East of France (in Metz). It was created by two students who made a bunch of game jams and hackathons.

History

Creation

During summer 2013, three students decided to make games themselves as part of their mandatory internship. They released their first game « Alien Cortex » under the name of Nice Penguins in september 2013. After that, two of them continued the adventure and participated in game jams with a lot of people. They made plenty of games like « Dreamble » (who was featured on GameJolt) or « Dash and Popy versus The Goblins ».

TCRM-BLIDA

Since October 2014 they are working in TCRM-BLIDA, a third place of creation, production and of artistic and digital innovation and even made the first video game about this place : « Blida Builders ». They are now co-founders and members of the video game cluster « East Games » and they are currently working on their first fully-featured game «We All End Up Alone ».
